Summary of the last few weeks

Sorry for the delay with the blog i've been back to work and lots of other things happening but here is a summary of how January has gone so far : January 9th Today was a quick trip to St.Austell Sewage works where I hoped to catch up with the Yellow-browed Warbler I found late last year and possibly a Firecrest which I've yet to get local for the year. Luck be have it I picked it up calling right by the small car park. Sadly always quick and in the shadows I didn't get any photos but hope to return on a sunnier day and try again. The Sewage Works sits right by the Pentewan Cycle Trail one side and the St.Austell river the other. 12th January Two great ticks today driving home through my patch area. First a Woodcock flying across the road from a small woodland to a field. Then abit later on a Barn Owl over the road near St.Stephens. This particular area is great for them especially on a clear night which is good hunting for them. 13th January  I went down to Par Beach Pool
